πŸ”‘ What you’ll see in this guide:

  • How announcements display on the athlete dashboard (web + mobile)

  • How to create, edit, duplicate, and schedule announcements

  • Formatting options (bold text, links, bullet points, styles for emphasis)

  • Targeting by groups, training plans, or race prep teams

πŸ‘‰ Announcements are perfect for weekly updates, motivational notes, or group instructions β€” keeping communication clear without sending one-to-one messages.

How Clients/Athletes See Announcements

Athletes see your announcements directly on their dashboard, right above their training schedule and recent history. On mobile, announcements again on the dashboard fit neatly at the top of the screen, giving athletes a clear, daily view without needing to dig into their calendar.

Managing Announcements

You can create, edit or copy announcements from the communications menu.

Expired announcements will be filtered out by default so you can uncheck the filter and search by name or title.

While creating or editing an announcement a preview will appear at the top of the form.

Fields

The Name field is for you to name the announcement so it's easy for you to find. This should be something descriptive. It will not show with the announcement

The Title is what will show at the top of the announcement.

The Date field is the date range the announcement will appear during, this enables you to schedule an announcement to start in the future and end at the end of the date range automatically.

The Announcement field is the announcement message itself. You can format this with bold, italic, underlined etc. and also use numbered or bulleted lists. You can also add clickable links.

The Message Style will allow you to choose from various color and icons.

The Dismissible field enables you to control whether the client/athlete can dismiss the announcement in which case it will not show again, or not dismissible so it will show every time until it expires.

The Groups field enables you to control who will be shown the announcement. By default all clients will see announcements unless you specify one or more groups.
