You can add new categories from the Communication - Forum Categories menu. Click the create button to add a new category. You can set the display order of the category to control where in the list of categories it will appear when users are creating new Forum Topics.

From your home page, click on Communication.

Select Forum Categories

Click Create for your topic.

Add your topic's title and description, then click Save.
