If you are connected to one of our data sync services then from time to time you may have a completed workout that syncs with the wrong planned workout. If that happens there are some steps you can take to correct it.

The steps are slightly different depending on which sync service you are using

Garmin Connect or Strava

Un-syncing the Workout

Find the planned workout that was incorrectly synced to a completed workout.

Open the planned workout and go to the "Sync" tab

You can use the unsync button to remove the completed data from this workout. Depending on the situation you may want to delete this workout if it is not required, or you may now want to sync it to the correct workout using the next steps.

Syncing the Correct Planned Workout

Now if there is another planned workout that the completed workout should have mapped to originally then open that workout. If there is not a planned workout then create a new one.

Open up the workout and go to the "Analyze" tab then the "Sync" tab. You should see a dropdown to view and select your workouts from Strava or from Garmin. Select the correct workout to map, then click the sync button.

Garmin only stores activities to manually sync for 7 days. If the activity you are looking for is older than 7 days then it may be missing from this list.

You can also manually upload an activity file, instructions on how to do that can be found here.
