If you are connected to one of our data sync services then from time to time you may have a completed workout that syncs with the wrong planned workout. If that happens there are some steps you can take to correct it.

The steps are slightly different depending on which sync service you are using

Garmin Connect

If you are syncing with the Garmin Connect sync service first go to the calendar view using the web version of the app.

Un-syncing the Workout

Find the planned workout that was incorrectly synced to a completed workout.

Open the planned workout and go to the "Analyze" tab and then scroll down to the "Uploads" tab.

Now click on the link next to the data file text. This should be a fit file, clicking on it will save it to your computer. Take note of where you save it as you will need it for a later step.

Now use the copy and paste tools to create a copy of the workout you just had open. This will duplicate the workout but it will not copy the completed data component.

You should now have two copies of the planned workout on the same day.

Now delete the workout that was incorrectly mapped

Syncing the Correct Planned Workout

Now if there is another planned workout that the completed workout should have mapped to originally then open that workout. If there is not a planned workout then create a new one.

Once the planned workout is open, again go to the "Analyze" tab then scroll down to the "Uploads" tab.

Click the "Upload Data File" button and upload the file you downloaded in a previous step.

Wait for the file to be processed and your data will now be synced with the correct planned workout.

Your data should now sync to the correct workout.

Repeat for any other workouts that you need to sync on that day.
